1. Who We Are

ResinOps is a cannabis operations management platform operated by Old Guard Cannabis Advisors LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our web application at app.resinops.com or our Android application (collectively, the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

Facility & Operational Data: Data you enter into ResinOps — including facility details, cultivation records, harvest batches, production schedules, employee rosters, QC/COA results, equipment records, and financial data — is stored in your account and associated with your facility.

Usage Data: We may collect basic usage analytics such as pages visited and features used to improve the Service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

We do not collect:

Location data
Contacts or phone data
Biometric data
Financial account numbers or payment card information (payments, when applicable, are processed through third-party providers)

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the Service
To authenticate your identity and secure your account
To associate your operational data with your facility
To provide AI-powered analytics features using your facility data (your data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis; see Section 6)
To communicate with you about your account or the Service

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) with the following protections:

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
Data is encrypted at rest on Supabase servers
Row-level security policies ensure users can only access data belonging to their facility
API keys for third-party integrations (METRC, Flourish, etc.) that you store in the Service are kept server-side and never exposed to the browser
Optional two-factor authentication (TOTP) is available for account sign-in, enabled at your discretion in Account Settings

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or operational data with third parties, except:

Service Providers: We use Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), and Anthropic (AI analysis) to operate the Service. These providers process data only as necessary to provide their services to us.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
With Your Consent: We will share data with third parties only when you explicitly direct us to (e.g., METRC sync, distribution platform integrations).

6. AI Features

The AI Operations Analyst and AI-powered features send your facility data to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. This data is used solely to generate responses to your queries and is not used by Anthropic to train AI models. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their API terms of service.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at alex@oldguardcannabis.com. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will remove your data from our active systems within 30 days. Backups may retain data for up to 90 days before automatic purging.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data (available through the Data Manager module)

9. Children's Privacy

ResinOps is a business-to-business tool for licensed cannabis operators. The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18 (or 21 in jurisdictions where cannabis operations require a minimum age of 21). We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
